HELLO
I support couples and individuals
understand their relationship patterns
to sustain the connection they long for.
My passion is guiding couples to
intentionally prepare for marriage or parenthood.
About Me
I am married and currently live in Nebraska to be closer to family. When I am not working, you would find me mostly going for walks in nearby parks, drinking lattes, playing board games, listening to music, and cuddling with my cat.
My Training
I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from La Salle University in Pennsylvania and have supported clients at a community center with parent coaching, supporting children in home/school, a mental health center with primarily adults and families, and a private practice focusing on couples. These experiences allowed me to support many clients through life transitions, self-soothing skill building, self-exploration, and frustrating conflict cycles.
I have developed a passion for working with couples and individuals who want more possible for their relationship - who want to explore their patterns, make intentional actions, and cherish their relationships. I take an individualized approach with a mix of Relational Life Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and body based approaches in my work with clients. (Credentials below)
My Role
As a therapist, I see my role as providing ease by identifying what to expect in the process, holding the space to show up as your whole self, observing patterns in and outside the room, navigating through conflict using researched skills and interventions, and providing resources for you to take into your life outside of the room.
My Focus
When I meet with you, I am intentionally listening for the cycle in the relationship with yourself or your partner, exploring the underlying needs and fears, and seeking how to empower your choice and control over the patterns. I believe my clients are more than the parts they see and stronger than they know to take control of their life and relationships.
My Commitment
I will consistently hold in mind what you want and what you are working towards. I will highlight your strengths and explore alternatives that can help bridge the current cycle to what is possible.
It’s hard to know which therapist to choose, so I am happy to offer a free 15 minute video consultation with you to identify if we would be a good fit, answer any questions you might have, or send you referrals that would be a better fit.
